A DESIRE FULFILLED... WITH PEARLS FOR GOD

In September 2009, at the Talent Workshop (Preschool Education), I started to tell my schoolchildren some stories from “The Wonderful World of the Bible for Children" (Lessa, Charlotte F .; Cardozo, John L., 2001).. When preparing the devotional, I don’t limit myself to just reading the story, but I try to learn more, so I have learned a lot. God knew this and fulfilled my desire, once again, in an amazing and very practical way, not when I wanted it, but at the moment he considered most appropriate.
On March 25th, 2010, I told the story "A New Heaven and a New Earth" (Revelation 21) and as I described the Holy City with all its gems and all the good that exists there, I must have shown such enthusiasm that a child asked, "When are we going to heaven?" Well, the day and hour, no one knows; only Our Father in heaven does. However, we can be sure that He is preparing a wonderful gift for those who overcome. I want to be there, live with Jesus, talk with Him, embrace Him and find all "my" children there. It will be a joy! After the recap of the story of the day, I referred to the title of the next story to cause some anticipation in the children. "Come, Lord Jesus" (Revelation 22) is the story that follows and is the last one in this Bible for Children. The same child asked, "How much longer will it take? I replied that we would find out the next day.
May God continue to help me to contribute to the education of these children and demonstrate the love I have for Jesus. It was great when a few weeks ago, a child exclaimed, "Lena loves Jesus" and I replied, "Yes, I love Jesus! He is my best friend!”
If we can transmit this love to children, we will be doing a great work for God, and they, themselves, will feel the desire to have Jesus as their best friend.

DESEJO REALIZADO… COM PÉROLAS PARA DEUS

- Provérbios 13:12 -Não nasci nem cresci segundo a Educação Adventista, mas quando conheci a mensagem tive o desejo de saber as historinhas da Bíblia como eram contadas às crianças. Mais tarde, e de uma forma diferente da que eu imaginava, Deus respondeu ao meu desejo.
Em Setembro de 2009, comecei a contar às crianças da Oficina de Talentos (grupo do Pré-Escolar) as histórias d'”O mundo maravilhoso da Bíblia para crianças” (Lessa, Charlotte F .; Cardozo, John L., 2001). Ao preparar a Meditação não me cinjo apenas à leitura da história, mas procuro saber mais, por isso, tenho aprendido bastante. Deus conhecia este meu desejo e respondeu, mais uma vez, de forma espantosa e muito prática, não quando eu queria, mas no momento que Ele considerou mais oportuno.
No dia 25 de Março de 2010, contei a história “Um Novo Céu e uma Nova Terra” (Apocalipse 21) e ao descrever a Cidade Santa com todas as pedras preciosas e tudo de bom que lá vai existir, devo ter mostrado tal entusiasmo que uma das crianças perguntou “Quando é que vamos para o Céu?”. Pois é, o dia e a hora ninguém sabe, apenas o Nosso Pai que está no Céu. Mas podemos ter a certeza que Ele está a preparar um presente maravilhoso para todos aqueles que vencerem. Eu quero lá estar, viver com Jesus, falar com Ele, abraçá-Lo e encontrar todas as “minhas” crianças, vai ser uma felicidade. Depois da recapitulação da história do dia refiro o título da próxima para causar alguma curiosidade nas crianças. “Vem, Senhor Jesus!” (Apocalipse 22) é a história que se segue, e a última desta Bíblia para Crianças. Então, a mesma criança pergunta “Ainda falta muito?”. Vamos saber isso no próximo dia, respondi.
Que Deus me continue a ajudar a contribuir para a formação destas crianças e a deixar transparecer o amor que sinto por Jesus. Foi muito bom, quando há umas semanas atrás uma criança exclamou “A Lena gosta muito de Jesus” e eu afirmei “Sim, gosto muito de Jesus. Ele é o meu melhor amigo.”
Se conseguirmos transmitir esse amor às crianças estaremos a fazer um excelente trabalho para Deus e elas próprias vão sentir o desejo de ter Jesus como seu melhor amigo.
